Motion in Methylene-Tetrahydromethanopterin Dehydrogenase [mtda]

Classification [D-h-2]
Structures 1LUA 1LU9
Description NADP+ binding changes the conformation of the NADP domain relative to the pterin domain. The rotation of about 6 degrees causes an opening of the interdomain crevice. It is probable that NADP+ binding freezes a particular conformational state of uncomplexed MdtA rather than inducing a conformational change.
