Classification Known Domain Motion, Hinge Mechanism [D-h-2]

1AVH Conformation 2 [ PartsList ]
1AVR Conformation 1 [ PartsList ]

Annexin V has four domains (1, 2, 3, and 4). Domains 1 and 2 can move relative to 3 and 4. The motion involves the rotation of a few degrees and occurs in varying amounts throughout all known annexin structures. The function is unknown.
